Nebraska Medicine is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our Ambulatory Float Pool. In this dynamic role, you will support multiple clinics by managing patient check-ins and registration across primary care and specialty care ambulatory settings. Assignments are based on operational needs, and schedules are provided one week in advance. This role requires strong adaptability, the ability to work independently, and comfort in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to quickly learn clinic workflows and provide a welcoming, professional experience for patients at all locations. A background in customer service or patient-facing roles is highly valued, as delivering exceptional patient experience is a top priority. Team collaboration and a positive, solutions-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role. Details: Shifts: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts between 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM. No evenings, weekends, or holidays. Training: Revenue Cycle training is required Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM for the first 2–4 weeks. Internal candidates who have previously completed this training for their current role do not need to repeat it. Location: Floating across Nebraska Medicine ambulatory clinics, including 14 primary care clinics and various specialty care clinics.
