Perform all medical receptionist functions at primary care and community-based health centers for underserved populations. The Medical Receptionist will report to the Health Center Administrator. This role involves serving diverse patient populations including pediatric, adult, and geriatric, as well as specific groups such as bariatric patients, patients with exceptional communication needs, patients with developmental delays, patients at the end of life, and patients under isolation precautions. The position also requires adherence to PHMC compliance standards, including the Code of Conduct, Whistleblowers, and Conflict of Interest Policies, as well as staying updated on federal, state, and PHMC regulations. Compliance with HIPAA and Confidentiality Policies, along with standards from the Department of Public Health (DPH), The Joint Commission, and other accreditation bodies, is mandatory. Additionally, adherence to Infection Control and Environment of Care Guidelines and Procedures is expected.
