About The Position

GO Physical Therapy is seeking a Receptionist to provide front desk coverage at our clinic locations throughout Lincoln. This position may require coverage at multiple facilities and assisting with all front desk activities within Lincoln. The ideal candidate will have flexible availability, with schedules ranging from part-time to full-time hours as needed between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical and dental insurance and a 401(k) with company match, along with a supportive team environment at a long-standing, reputable local company. Requirements

  • Must be able to communicate clearly and accurately with a variety of individuals.
  • Flexibility in availability and open to working 25 to 40 hours a week.

Responsibilities

  • Use outstanding customer service skills to meet client intake.
  • Answer all incoming phone calls.
  • Schedule patient appointments and keep schedule up to date and accurate.
  • Prior to a new evaluation, call and verify appointment time and date with patient.
  • Manage waiting room. Make sure no patient is left waiting, announce upon arrival and print label for each patient and discipline.
  • Assists clients and staff with questions as they occur.
  • Responsible for overall admissions procedures, including: Admit all new patients in a timely, accurate fashion (all correct information collected and entered correctly in system).
  • Correct discharge process of patients
  • As patients are discharged, responsible for coding EMR system appropriately.
  • Verification of benefits for new patients
  • Authorization for additional visits / management of number of visits left, coordination with therapists.
  • Notify therapists in a timely fashion when recertification is needed.
  • Maintain patient and family confidentiality at all times.
  • All job duties considered essential to job performance.
  • Additional job duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrate positive rapport with staff members, developing positive employee relations.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment by taking appropriate actions regarding questionable findings or concerns.
  • Take direction and initiate actions that will allow the assumption of cross-functional duties to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Follow GO PT polices and procedures, including safety processes.
