This role is for a Medical Office Coordinator in their Webster Groves Patient Care Center to handle the Prosthetic Department, with cross-training in Orthotics for additional coverage when needed. The company is looking for someone for long-term employment, aiming for a 'Hire to Retire' scenario. The Office Associate is the first and last point of contact for patients, initiating work, gathering information for device/service completion and billing. Responsibilities include greeting patients, obtaining demographic data, copying insurance cards, answering calls, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, obtaining necessary medical documentation (letters of medical necessity, prescriptions, referrals), securing authorization numbers, entering data into the computer system, printing work orders, and collecting co-pays and deductibles.
