The position requires attention to detail to ensure schedule accuracy, meeting performance measures, and working collaboratively with staff and management. Confidentiality of patient, family, and employee information is paramount. The role involves greeting visitors, answering and routing telephone calls, and using appropriate diction and grammar. Customer service is a key aspect, requiring professional manners, tact, and calmness during interruptions. The Medical Receptionist implements day-to-day operations of the specific service or environment, maintains a safe and secure environment, and displays competency with office equipment and systems.
