Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Greeting and registering patients when they enter the practice.
• Ensuring a positive patient experience as the first point of contact.
• Managing all front desk operations, including scheduling patients, answering phones, and scanning medical records.
• Triage patient phone calls for severity/importance.
• Collecting insurance information and verifying benefits.
• Performing charge entry and payment posting.
• Supporting the goals and mission of Mercy Medical Center, particularly in providing easy access to high-quality care, service, and value.
• Upholding the mission, including confidentiality of all patient and financial information and treating all patients with dignity and compassion.
