About The Position

We are a growing, fast-paced, physician-led practice and a leader in the care and treatment of kidney disease. We are looking for a full-time Medical Receptionist to join our team. As one of the first points of contact for our patients, our Medical Receptionists play an important role in creating a welcoming, professional, and positive patient experience. The right candidate will enjoy working with people, thrive in a busy environment, and be able to balance multiple priorities while providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong customer service and communication skills
Excellent organization and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Professional, dependable, and able to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to travel to other clinic locations as needed
Great attitude, strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to provide a great experience for our patients.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of medical receptionist experience preferred
Experience with EPIC and Microsoft Office is a plus

Responsibilities

Greeting patients and assisting with check-in and check-out
Scheduling and managing patient appointments
Answering incoming calls, returning patient calls, and accurately documenting messages
Verifying and updating patient demographic and insurance information
Monitoring cancellations, no-shows, recall lists, and scheduling changes
Collecting patient payments and completing related administrative tasks
Scanning, uploading, and maintaining accurate patient information
Working closely with clinical staff and providers to support efficient patient and clinic flow
This position requires travel to other clinic locations as needed.
