About The Position

The IMA Group is seeking a friendly, organized Medical Receptionist to be the first face patients see. You’ll run the front desk, keep patient flow moving, and set the tone for a welcoming, professional visit in a fast-paced medical office. Our Payer Services Division meets the evaluation and screening needs of Carriers, TPAs, Public Entities and Employers and includes behavioral health and physical medicine specialty services, working with a wide range of organizations within the workers' compensation, disability, liability, and auto markets. Our Clinical Research Division performs all types of Phase II-IV clinical trials in multiple therapeutic areas through a flexible nationwide network of site locations and virtual capabilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of receptionist or customer service experience, preferably in a medical setting
• Strong communication skills and comfort with office equipment and basic software
• Multitasking and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors with courtesy and professionalism
• Register new patients, schedule appointments, and answer phone inquiries
• Maintain and update patient records in our electronic medical records system
• Support smooth patient check-in and check-out in partnership with medical staff
• Handle filing, data entry, and office supply upkeep
