Greets and directs visitors in a positive and helpful manner. Provides any necessary instructions/directions. Informs appropriate department of the patient’s arrival. Collects copays, schedules appointments, prepares paperwork, makes appointment reminder phone calls. Enters and balances daily patient charge sheet, ensures all patient files are accurately updated. Answers telephone in a professional manner, screens calls and takes concise messages. Listens to and evaluates needs of callers and handles appropriately, with a focus on customer service and assistance. Supplements office staff by assisting with computer input/typing, appointments scheduling, preparation of forms, correspondence, compilation of data, and other various projects. Assists in maintenance of office equipment and supplies while maintaining a clean orderly reception area. Performs other duties or assists with projects as assigned. Create a positive long lasting impression on patients.
