About The Position

Midwest Pain Clinics (MPC) is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our outpatient pain management team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with patients, staying organized, and being part of a team that delivers compassionate, high-quality care. You'll help keep the patient experience running smoothly from arrival through checkout while providing dependable administrative and clinical support.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 3 years of experience working in a medical clinic and/or patient scheduling experience.
Medical billing experience.
Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
Ability to maintain accuracy and professionalism in a busy environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a healthcare or physician office.
Familiarity with medical terminology, office procedures, and electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and manage check-in, check-out, and registration.
Schedule appointments and respond to incoming calls.
Collect co-pays, deposits, and required documentation.
Obtain and organize insurance information and new-patient paperwork.
Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation.
Assist with patient flow and prepare exam rooms as needed.
Document patient histories, vital signs, and test results as directed.
Handle medical records and patient information in accordance with HIPAA requirements.
Keep the front office and clinical areas organized and professional.
Follow OSHA, HIPAA, facility, and company procedures.
Complete required training and assist with additional office needs as assigned.
