A Patient Coordinator is trained to act as the first point of contact for our patients where they set the tone for the patient’s visit through excellent patient care. This employee will also perform the necessary administrative responsibilities needed to create a smooth check-in/out experience for patients. The Patient Coordinator is responsible for providing exceptional customer service during every patient encounter (in person or via phone), displaying a professional attitude, greeting patients promptly with a smile, and thanking them when they leave. They will also answer phones (both external and internal), assuring prompt, courteous service at all times, and practicing urgency with patients’ time, as well as Doctor’s time and schedule. This role involves managing patient flow in the office, understanding common fees for visits and collecting correct payments, completing daily reconciliations, closing the day, and counting the cash drawer. General office duties and cleaning will be assigned by the manager.
