The Medical Receptionist position increases the efficiency of the Medical Assistants and Providers in the delivery and coordination of medical care; and of the COO in the administration of overall Health Services. The Medical Receptionist is the first person that prospective or current patients see when they visit or call the medical office and extraordinary customer service is required. The individual in this position is responsible for the overall administrative functions that support the provision of primary medical care to patients, including but not limited to collecting data, assisting the COO and health services leadership in generating reports, maintaining patient charts, scheduling patient appointments, routing faxes appropriately, receiving and processing patient financial payments and other clerical duties to support the work of the COO and health services for quality patient services.
