About The Position

Our Medical Receptionist is proficient in all areas of making a compassionate environment for our patients. The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients, providing a warm and professional welcome. The role involves managing front desk operations, such as greeting patients, answering incoming correspondence, facilitating communication between patients and clinical staff, and scheduling appointments.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • 1+ years of medical administrative office experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual/Spanish speaking is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients with professionalism, warmth, and compassion.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and faxes; respond or route as appropriate.
  • Assist with patient inquiries, scheduling, and concerns in a timely, courteous manner.
  • Perform check-in/check-out, including payment collection.
  • Verify and update patient information and insurance; upload documents to the EMR system.
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments with clinical staff.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
  • Support intake forms, medical records, and general administrative tasks (data entry, filing, document management).
  • Prepare patient charts and tasks for upcoming days.
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with all privacy regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
