About The Position

We are looking for part-time. Applicants must be available on Thursday and Friday 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. The Makovicka Physical Therapy Team strives to provide an atmosphere where we can focus on outstanding service through employee engagement and organizational growth, and to create a welcoming and friendly environment. This is a part-time position may be perfect for you! You must be available from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Great team members are ones who fit our culture and values, working to ensure that patients feel welcome and at ease through their experience in our clinic. We strive to provide a friendly and encouraging environment for our patients and you play a key role. This position will have a mix of active patient interaction and administrative duties in the clinic.

Requirements

• Enjoy moving and working with patients
• Ability to multitask and prioritize various patient, clinician, and clinic needs
• Detail-oriented and a need to make sure that every detail is correct
• Strong people and communication skills
• Have a high level of proficiency with computers and Microsoft programs
• Ability to deal tactfully with patients, family members, insurance, and the general public
• High degree of physical movement throughout the day

Nice To Haves

• Experience with insurance, patient or customer service and healthcare is preferred
• Previous front desk and insurance experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by welcoming and putting people at ease
• Ensure accurate patient records
• Assist physical therapists in delivering high-quality patient care
• Manage and maintain the physical space of the clinic and equipment
• Help patients with exercises and mobility activities
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the team
