Our three primary care pediatrics locations in Staten Island are looking for a Medical Assistant who’s ready to bring compassion, organization, and energy to our fast-paced practice. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • English/Spanish required to support our patient population
  • At least 1 year of experience in a medical office — pediatric experience is highly preferred
  • Strong multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced setting
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical procedures
  • Comfortable with EMR systems (AthenaOne is a bonus!)

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is a big plus

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow throughout the day.
  • Check patients in and out, process copays, and handle balance dues with accuracy and care.
  • Keep things organized behind the scenes to help the whole office run smoothly.
  • Greet patients and families warmly as they arrive.
  • Collect patient info, update records in our EMR (AthenaOne experience is a bonus!), and assist with medical histories.
  • Take vital signs like blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature — and help patients get ready for their visit.
  • Assist with basic clinical procedures and coordinate care based on physician instructions.
  • Keep exam rooms stocked, sanitized, and ready to go!
