About The Position

Valley Stream Pediatrics is seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist who is bilingual in Spanish/English. The ideal candidate will be the friendly first impression for patients, responsible for greeting them, answering phones, and making families feel at ease. This role involves scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, managing patient check-in and check-out, maintaining accurate patient records, and ensuring smooth office operations. The receptionist will also answer questions, assist with paperwork, and work closely with providers and medical staff to support patient care in a fast-paced environment where multitasking is key.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Bilingual Spanish/English required.
• At least one year of experience in a medical office.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask.

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric experience.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), especially AthenaOne.
