This role involves balancing patient needs with efficient office workflow, supporting physicians before, during, and after medical procedures, and ensuring an excellent patient service experience. The position is full-time, with hours varying between 7 am-7 pm, Sunday through Friday, and requires working at multiple clinics in Lower Manhattan (Chelsea, Lenox Hill, 1st Ave, Harlem, and Fulton St.). The compensation is $19-$21 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Fluency in English and Mandarin is required, and paid training will be provided for 2-4 weeks.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
1+ year experience as a receptionist, preferably in the medical or dental field
Fluency in English and Mandarin Required
Float position supporting our clinics, at Chelsea, Lenox Hill, 1st Ave, Harlem and Fulton St.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and escort them to the examination rooms; assist patients with the completion of forms as necessary
Schedule appointments and accommodate patient appointment needs, such as ordering transportation, rescheduling, etc.
Comply with patient needs at all time and ensure all questions are answered
Maintain procedure rooms by ensuring that they are neat and ready for use at all times
Prepare patients before procedures and clean up after
Ensure patient receipt of post-procedure instructions and how to obtain medication if needed
Monitor supply levels and replace inventory
Additional duties as assigned
