Requirements

  • Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) required
  • Experience in general radiography, gastrics, mobile radiography, intra-operative radiography including orthopedic radiographic OR procedures is required.
  • Experience in CT including IV access and contrast media injections is required
  • Evidence of continuing education related to the profession is required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Regular attendance is required
  • Subject to any accommodation required by applicable human rights legislation, Cambridge Memorial Hospital requires that all staff have received all required doses of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by Health Canada.
  • The successful external applicant is required to provide the applicable criminal record check, as requested by Human Resources, in accordance with federal and provincial legislation. Valid criminal record checks are in original format and dated with two months from date of conditional offer from CMH.

  • Registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists preferred

Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of radiological imaging techniques, including X-ray, fluoroscopy, operating room studies and CT.
  • Works days, evenings and nights including weekends and participates in an on-call rotation.
  • Must be able to be at the hospital within 30 minutes to attend to the emergency patient when on-call.
  • Participates in student clinical education.
  • Contributes to ensuring there is a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.
