About The Position

The Practice Manager position is with the Cancer Care Group at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, NY. This role is responsible for the planning, priority setting, coordination, and evaluation of patient care programs for designated patient populations. Key aspects include the development and ongoing monitoring of administrative and clinical systems that support patient care, facilitating collegial relationships among care teams, and managing human, fiscal, material, and facility resources. The Practice Manager also supports, plans, implements, and evaluates program goals and policies of St. Peter’s Health Care Services, focusing on patient-centered care.

Requirements

At least five (5) years management experience in the medical field.
Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Excellent attention to detail and organization.
Effective speaking and writing skills.
Commitment to confidentiality and respect.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Understand and embrace a customer service focus.
Ability to work independently, yet function collaboratively within a team.
Associates Degree Required.
Ability to lift 20 lbs.
