St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is seeking a qualified Medical Physics Assistant to join the Department of Radiation Oncology. This role supports both photon and proton therapy programs, performing routine quality assurance and radiation physics services under the direction of a qualified Medical Physicist. The position involves treatment system and imaging equipment quality assurance, patient-specific QA, and data collection. Additionally, the Medical Physics Assistant will contribute to equipment maintenance, documentation, radiation safety, and departmental quality improvement initiatives. This is an opportunity to work in an advanced clinical and research environment with state-of-the-art technologies, including image-guided linear accelerator systems, spectral CT, PET/CT, MRI systems, advanced treatment planning and image-guidance technologies, and the St. Jude Proton Therapy Center.
