We are looking for a Medical Oncology APP at St. Luke's East. This is a full-time position with Monday-Friday, 4x10 shifts. There are no weekends, holidays, or call requirements. The APP will be accountable for advanced nursing practice in the care of assigned patient populations. Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing client health data, identifying appropriate expected outcomes, developing and implementing a plan of care, providing comprehensive clinical coordination of care and case management, consulting to influence the plan of care for clients, enhancing the abilities of others, and effecting change in the system. The role also involves using prescriptive authority, procedures, and treatments in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations, evaluating client progress in attaining expected outcomes, conducting nursing research, providing education to patients, families, and nursing staff, and case managing high-risk patients.
