About The Position

This is a permanent Medical Oncology position located in Brattleboro, VT. The role involves both inpatient and outpatient services, covering a vacancy. The position requires clinical duties plus call, with a work schedule of 2 days per week and rotating weekend call. The primary duties include diagnosing and staging cancers, developing personalized treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and managing treatment-related side effects and supportive care.

Requirements

• Active VT License or willing to obtain
• BC/BE
• Clean Record
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report
• Completion of an accredited urology residency program in the United States or Canada

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and stage various cancers through thorough clinical assessments, imaging, and laboratory tests.
• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient, incorporating chemotherapy, radiation, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies.
• Monitor and manage patient progress, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary.
• Manage treatment-related side effects and provide supportive care.
