About The Position
Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) is seeking a board-certified/eligible medical oncologist and hematologist to join their team at the Lecanto location. The oncology and hematology experts specialize in treating early and advanced cancers, blood disorders, Leukemias, and Lymphomas using targeted personalized therapies driven by innovative clinical research. FCS oncology experts combine compassionate care with cutting-edge technologies, genomic DNA-based treatments, and immunotherapy to provide top cancer treatments. This is an excellent full-time opportunity for a team-oriented, fellowship-trained general medical oncologist and hematologist to join a dynamic team committed to providing superior patient and community-centered care. Physicians will have opportunities to participate in research and clinical trials, and rotating/rounding call is required.
Requirements
- Full, unrestricted Florida MD/DO License
- BC/BE in hematology/oncology
- Background and drug screens
- Must receive various vaccinations, including the influenza vaccine, barring an approved exemption
- Drug testing (Medical Marijuana cards are not recognized)
Responsibilities
- Outpatient clinics
- Chemotherapy supervision
- Inpatient and consultation services in the management of malignant cancers and benign hematology diagnoses
- Rotating/rounding call
