The Medical Office Assistant (MOA) provides office administration duties, including clerical and operational support to physicians and the practice. This role may also involve limited clinical duties, assigned as needed to support daily clinic operations. The MOA will interact with patients both in person and over the phone, and perform tasks such as faxing, filing, verifying insurance, collecting copayments, and conducting referrals.
