About The Position

We are seeking a customer-focused Medical Office Assistant to join a busy Pediatric and Adult Medicine practice. Requirements

3-5+ years of experience in a healthcare administrative, medical receptionist, medical secretary, scheduling, or front-desk role
Strong customer service and communication skills
Experience working with EMR systems required
Excellent computer and data entry skills
Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy in a busy medical office environment
Professional demeanor and dependable attendance record

Nice To Haves

EPIC experience strongly preferred
Experience working in a pediatric practice
Medical Assistant background with an interest in front-office/administrative responsibilities
Insurance verification experience
Strong phone etiquette and patient-service skills

Responsibilities

Schedule patient appointments and manage provider calendars
Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions and requests
Greet and check in patients in a professional and friendly manner
Verify insurance information and ensure accurate patient records
Enter and update patient information within the electronic medical record (EMR) system
Communicate effectively with providers, patients, and team members
Provide administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth office operations
Maintain a high level of customer service while handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
