About The Position
CACI is seeking a Medical Logistics Technician I to join their team at Travis AFB, CA. This position requires a self-starter with a strong work ethic and attention to detail to ensure smooth operations. The role involves assisting with the management of formal inventory and stock of medical materiel, specifically for the Critical Care Air Transport Team Allowance Standard and Aeromedical Evacuation In-flight Kit. Duties include shipping, inventorying, tracking, and accounting for medical equipment and supplies related to the Patient Movement Items (PMI), Aeromedical Evacuation (AE), and Critical Care Air Transport Team (CCATT) Programs. The specialist will also receive new and excess supplies and redistribute them to address current project shortfalls. This role is crucial in supporting the CACI mission by providing Medical Logistics support activities for the US Air Force, Headquarters, Air Mobility Command, Patient Movement Items Program.
Requirements
- Ability to pass a favorable National Agency Check with Local Law and Credit (NACLC)
- BA/BS and 3 Years of experience OR 6 years of work experience may substitute for a BA/BS OR an AA Degree with 4 years may be substituted for a BA/BS.
- 2 years of logistics/warehouse operations experience required
- Military medical materiel experience
- Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) software data application certified
Responsibilities
- Assists with managing the formal inventory and stock of medical materiel based on the components of the Critical Care Air Transport Team Allowance Standard and Aeromedical Evacuation In-flight Kit.
- Perform duties of shipping, inventorying, tracking, and accounting for medical equipment and supplies that are part of the Patient Movement Items (PMI), Aeromedical Evacuation (AE), and Critical Care Air Transport Team (CCATT) Programs.
- Receives new and excess supplies and cross-levels them to satisfy current shortfalls within projects.
