About The Position
Solvita is seeking a Medical Manufacturing Technician to join their team. This role involves working in a cutting-edge facility to create grafts from living and cadaveric tissue and bone, ensuring all allografts meet the highest standards of accuracy, quality, and safety. The position, internally titled Processing Technician, offers the opportunity to contribute to life-saving transplantation products. Processing Technicians work in various areas including Traditional, Cellular, CNC, Dental, and Birth Tissue at the Kettering location. This is a first shift role with a starting pay of $18.00/hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work with living and cadaveric tissue/bone.
- Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- High attention to detail and precision in task performance and documentation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team setting and follow directions.
- Ability to report numbers accurately and monitor error control.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and continuous standing.
- Ability to work around high magnetic circuits or magnetic fields (in some areas).
- Good eye-hand coordination skills.
- Ability to meet required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.
