About The Position
Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm with offices in all 50 states, has openings for Medical Malpractice Attorneys who have experience practicing in Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey. We are looking for all levels of experience from partnership to 3 years of experience. We offer flexible options for successful candidates, including remote and hybrid opportunities. The ideal candidates will have 3+ years of experience specializing in medical malpractice/healthcare litigation matters. Candidates must be driven team players with excellent litigation, writing and persuasive speaking skills, possess strong academic backgrounds, proven skills in research, and be self-starters who are able to handle assignments with minimal supervision. Candidates must be licensed and admitted to practice in New Jersey and/or Pennsylvania.
Requirements
- Experience practicing in Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey
- 3+ years of experience specializing in medical malpractice/healthcare litigation matters
- Excellent litigation, writing and persuasive speaking skills
- Strong academic backgrounds
- Proven skills in research
- Self-starters who are able to handle assignments with minimal supervision
- Licensed and admitted to practice in New Jersey and/or Pennsylvania
- Solid written and verbal communication skills and command of the English language
Responsibilities
- Drafting correspondence, pleadings, opinion letters, and other documents
- Reviewing and analyzing documents for relevance and privilege
- Preparing for, attending and summarizing depositions
- Coordinating with witnesses
- Communicating with clients, courts, and other counsel
- Maintain current knowledge of Local Rules, Rules of Civil Procedure, FRCP and other applicable codes and regulations
- Coordinate and communicate with parties outside the Firm including clients, courts, opposing and co-counsel, vendors, attorneys, secretaries, paralegals, case assistants, managers, and other staff
