About The Position
The Medical Laboratory Technologist, under general supervision, will perform high and moderate complexity testing and oversee testing of medical laboratory technicians and specimen management by phlebotomists during their shift in order to provide data used in the diagnosis and therapeutic management of diseases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution.
- American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Certification or American Medical Technologist required.
- New Graduate must have ASCP or AMT within 6 months from date of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of one to three (1-3) years of experience in medical laboratory work as a certified technologist preferred.
