Medical Laboratory Technologist (Per Diem)
About The Position
Process specimens, perform tests, report results, and calibrate equipment. Assist the Clinical Laboratory Manager in determining the accuracy and utility of new tests and procedures. This is a per diem role, not full-time or part-time. New hires must attend a mandatory three-day orientation at Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster, New Hampshire. Employees whose designated home base is elsewhere are eligible for travel reimbursement under the standard travel policy. Weeks Medical Center is a 25-bed critical access hospital offering medical, surgical, and intensive care services, as well as outpatient services including cardiac and physical rehabilitation, oncology, 24-hour emergency care, laboratory, and radiology services. North Country Healthcare is a nonprofit affiliation of four medical facilities in New Hampshire’s White Mountains Region, delivering integrated care through community hospitals, specialty clinics, and home health and hospice services. The anticipated hourly compensation range is listed as $33.77/hr–$42.22/hr–$45.59/hr. Final compensation depends on the selected candidate’s applicable experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science meeting the academic requirements of the ASCP Board Registry.
- Certification by ASCP or equivalent; candidates who are not currently board certified must obtain certification within one year of hire.
- Licensure is optional in the State of New Hampshire.
