Requirements
- Associate's Degree (Required)
- Up to 1 year experience internship (Required)
- MLT - Medical Technician - Certified from ASCP, American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT) or has completed a technician training program within 1 Year is required.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the analysis of laboratory specimens and subsequent result reporting according to laboratory protocol and procedures.
- Ability to Prioritize/Organize/Handle Quantity of Work
- Accuracy/Quality/Completeness of Work
- Complex Assignments Received/Delegated/Completed
- Judgement Skills/Problem Solving Skills
- Overall Procedure Knowledge/Quality Assurance Knowledge – including documentation as needed
