About The Position
As a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), you will be responsible for collecting blood from patients, performing various analytical tests, and reporting the results. Our patients and team members will count on you to perform tests needed to identify the necessary care and treatments. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week on the night shift, from 8 PM to 6 AM, Monday through Thursday.
Requirements
- Medical Laboratory Technician degree
Nice To Haves
- Previous hospital experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Collect blood from patients
- Perform various analytical tests
- Report the results
- Use laboratory equipment and analyzers to complete many of the tests
- Accurately report results using Sunquest Lab Information System (LIS)
- Perform analyzer maintenance and quality control
- Draw inpatients’ morning labs
