About The Position
The Medical Laboratory Technician is responsible for accurately processing, analyzing and reporting laboratory results in a timely manner with minimal supervision, while maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards. This position will work in a Generalist role.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician Program or related field
- Already functioning as a MLT within HVHS (Grandfathered) as of June 2004

- MLT (ASCP) certification
Responsibilities
- Accurately processing, analyzing and reporting laboratory results in a timely manner with minimal supervision, while maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
- Comprehend and follow procedural guidelines in performance of laboratory tests
- Quality control monitoring
- Computer applications
- Instrumentation troubleshooting
- Specimen collection and processing requirements
