About The Position

Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team supporting active-duty military members, veterans, and their families. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED (required)
Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician program (NAACLS or ABHES)
Certification as an MLT (ASCP, NCA, or AMT) or state licensure
BLS certification through the American Heart Association (current)
Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills

Nice To Haves

2+ years of experience preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

Collect, process, and prepare patient specimens with precision and care
Perform laboratory testing across multiple disciplines, including: Microbiology, Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Immunohematology, Serology
Accurately verify patient identification and ensure proper documentation
Enter and manage lab orders within the Composite Health Care System
Educate patients on proper specimen collection procedures
Support overall lab operations and maintain quality standards
