About The Position

Performs, interprets, and correlates clinical laboratory tests according to established protocols to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating illness and disease. Uses complex problem-solving skills to resolve clinical and instrument problems. The role requires following established procedures to comply with OSHA and applicable regulatory requirements, maintain a safe laboratory environment, and meet accreditation standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university, with 16 semester hours (24 quarter hours) in biology, including one semester in microbiology, and 16 semester hours (24 quarter hours) in chemistry, including one semester in organic chemistry or biochemistry. These coursework requirements may be completed within or in addition to the bachelor's degree.
• ASCP or equivalent categorical/generalist certification within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to adopt H3W Leadership behaviors and become a strong H3W ambassador.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal, written, and listening skills, and good leadership abilities.
• Ability to comply with OSHA and applicable regulatory requirements by following established procedures.
