Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with coursework aligned to Medical Laboratory discipline OR Certification as a BB, C, CG, CT, M, MB OR meets AAB/AMT certification requirements.
- Six months of experience in a medical laboratory setting.
- Demonstrated technical proficiency and theoretical knowledge sufficient to perform laboratory functions.
Nice To Haves
- Certification at the technologist or medical/clinical lab scientist level from a nationally recognized agency (e.g., ASCP, AMT, ASM, AAB, AABB, ACS, or HEW).
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex analytic procedures on blood and other body fluids.
- Utilize manual techniques and laboratory instruments to deliver accurate results.
- Maintain technical skills and theoretical knowledge.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver critical diagnostic information that impacts patient care and outcomes.
