About The Position

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform and demonstrate proficiency in one or more areas of the clinical laboratory. The role supports patient care through service, safety, and professionalism. The successful candidate performs laboratory procedures, maintains performance and quality records, keeps equipment maintained, and assists with laboratory training programs as required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.
Must hold one of the listed credentials: Medical Laboratory Scientist, Certified Medical Lab, Certified Lab Technologist, Clinical Laboratory Scientist, Medical Lab Scientist, or American Medical Technologist.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform chemical, bacteriological, serological, and microscopic procedures in one or more laboratory sections.
Maintain records of performance, patient results, and quality control.
Maintain equipment and record preventive and remedial equipment maintenance.
Assist with laboratory training programs as required.
