About The Position

The Medical Laboratory Scientist position is based at UW Health Swedish American Hospital, 1401 E State St. The schedule is 100% FTE, Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with rotating weekends and holidays. Additional compensation may include evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology.
No minimum work experience required.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science (MLS).
Master's degree in medical laboratory science (MLS).
One year of healthcare- or laboratory-related work experience.
Certification in Medical Lab Science, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Blood Banking, or Molecular Biology from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or a similar agency.
