Under the general supervision of a Specialist, Manager, or Director, the Clinical Laboratory Scientist performs highly complex clinical laboratory testing in one or more laboratory sections within the Pathology Department. This role requires professional-level knowledge to perform, analyze, interpret, and validate test results, including abnormal or atypical findings. Responsibilities include equipment calibration, quality control review, troubleshooting instrumentation issues, and ensuring accurate reporting of results in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements. All duties performed reflect age‑specific patient needs.
