Requirements

Medical Laboratory Technician-Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology
Medical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Technologist – Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
Must be qualified as high complexity testing personnel under CLIA regulations.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of clinical experience working in the Laboratory
Current Medical Laboratory Science certification with American Society for Clinical Pathology or equivalent nationally recognized certifying organization is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical testing in all areas of the general laboratory for diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Perform quality control.
Analyze results and correlating to standard values.
Evaluate procedural changes under supervisory direction.
Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments.
Perform phlebotomy and clerical duties, as well as train students.
