About The Position

This is a full-time and part-time night shift position (10:00 PM-6:30 AM) with weekend and holiday rotation at Atrium Medical Center in Middletown, OH. The role involves performing various tests accurately and efficiently, maintaining equipment and reagents, recognizing and solving problems related to instruments or results, and correctly recording and reporting all test results. The position also includes addressing client inquiries, training new employees and students, and adhering to all corporate integrity and safety policies.

Requirements

Associates or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Medical Laboratory Science (MLT/MLS/CLS).
ASCP or AMT certification (or eligible) or comparable required.

Responsibilities

Perform all tests in an accurate and efficient manner following established policies and procedures.
Perform and record daily and/or routine maintenance and quality control on all equipment or reagents used for testing.
Recognize problems with instruments, reagents, test results and/or supplies and initiates problem solving procedures.
Record all results in an accurate, complete and readable format, utilizes computer systems correctly to generate results and notifies clients appropriately of panic value results.
Address client related questions and problems in a courteous and efficient manner, following department policies and procedures.
Participate in training of new employees and students in appropriate technical areas.
Comply with all corporate integrity and safety policies of CompuNet Clinical Laboratories.
Contribute to the overall effectiveness of CompuNet Clinical Laboratories by performing other duties as required.
