About The Position

We are hiring for a Lead Medical Laboratory Scientist position at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK. This position is full-time, 0.8 FTE, with 8-hour Day shifts, totaling 32 hours per week. Relocation Assistance is available for eligible hires who meet the required qualifications and conditions for payment. This role leads a group of laboratory employees working on a particular shift and coordinates the daily operations of the clinical laboratory/section. The Lead Medical Laboratory Scientist serves as a resource to laboratory staff and physicians for the resolution of unusual problems or unexpected circumstances, both technical and non-technical. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or education and training equivalent to the requirements for a B.S. degree in a biological or chemistry specialty
Upon hire: National Medical Laboratory Scientist – American Society for Clinical Pathology or Upon hire: National Medical Technologist – American Medical Technologists or Upon hire: National Medical Technologist – American Society for Clinical Pathology
1 year of clinical experience
