The successful candidate will play a crucial role in performing complex tests and procedures aimed at detecting, identifying, and analyzing various medical conditions. This role will predominantly be within chemistry, but there is the potential to cross-train in immunohematology.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology
• ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) certification or an equivalent credential required.
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication & teamwork—collaborate effectively in a dynamic lab setting.
• Independence & Adaptability—thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Ethics & Confidentiality—commitment to patient privacy and high professional standards.
• Distinguish color and pass a vision acuity test in compliance with CAP regulations.

• Recent graduates or those about to graduate in Medical Lab Science, Medical Technology, and Medical Lab Technician programs are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Performing complex tests and procedures aimed at detecting, identifying, and analyzing various medical conditions.
• Cross-training in immunohematology is a potential aspect of the role.
• Adhering to protective protocols in a safety-focused environment.
• Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including lab coats, gloves, goggles, and face shields, at all times while handling potentially infectious samples.
• Standing or sitting for extended periods while conducting laboratory testing.
• Lifting and maneuvering up to 25 pounds as needed.
