The successful candidate will play a crucial role in performing complex tests and procedures aimed at detecting, identifying, and analyzing various medical conditions. This role will predominantly be within chemistry, but there is the potential to cross train in immunohematology.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology
• ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) certification or an equivalent credential required.
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication & teamwork.
• Independence & Adaptability—thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Ethics & Confidentiality—commitment to patient privacy and high professional standards.
• Stand or sit for extended periods while conducting laboratory testing
• Lift and maneuver up to 25 pounds as needed
• Distinguish color and pass a vision acuity test in compliance with CAP regulations

• Recent graduates or those about to graduate in Medical Lab Science, Medical Technology, and Medical Lab Technician programs are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Performing complex tests and procedures aimed at detecting, identifying, and analyzing various medical conditions.
• Working in a highly specialized, safety-focused environment.
• Adhering to protective protocols.
• Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including lab coats, gloves, goggles, and face shields, at all times while handling potentially infectious samples.
• Collaborating effectively in a dynamic lab setting.
• Potentially cross-training in immunohematology.
