Medical Laboratory Scientist (Immunohematology) - Evening Shift
About The Position
Join our lifesaving team of Immunohematology Medical Laboratory Scientists in Birmingham, AL today! This role involves working in a full-service, accredited Immunohematology Reference Laboratory. You will resolve complex immunohematology and compatibility issues to ensure the safest blood for patients and deliver excellent customer service with no on-call requirements. We offer opportunities for continuous learning and skill development, including access to our accredited SBB training program for professional growth. You will perform critical and complex testing that directly supports lifesaving patient care.
Requirements
- National certification as MT/CLS/MLS with ASCP, AAB or AMT, including immunohematology
- Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory, Chemical, or Biological Science
- Familiarity with blood banking
- Legal authorization to work in the United States is required. We do not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
- Criminal background check and drug screen required upon conditional offer of hire.
