Are you looking for a laboratory career that offers both technical complexity and meaningful patient impact? Join the Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) team at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, where you'll play an integral role in every stage of a patient's stem cell transplant journey. As a Medical Laboratory Scientist in our specialized BMT laboratory, you'll perform advanced laboratory testing while also serving as a donor procurement coordinator, collaborating with the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) to connect patients with living, unrelated stem cell donors from around the world. This unique role extends beyond the laboratory, providing opportunities to participate in the transplant process and interact directly with patients and families during some of the most important moments of their care. Working alongside a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, you'll help deliver life-saving therapies while experiencing the rewarding opportunity to see the direct impact of your work from donor identification to transplant and recovery. If you're passionate about science, patient care, and making a difference, we invite you to join our full-circle transplant laboratory team.
