Requirements

• Certification or eligibility as one of the following: MLT (ASCP/AMT), MT (ASCP/AMT/HEW), CLS (NCA/ASMT) or equivalent
• Appropriate education and lab training per federal guidelines
• CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
• Eligible for MLT certification within 12 months (if applicable)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Must meet vaccination requirements (with approved exemptions if applicable)
• Background check and drug screening required

Responsibilities

• Perform high-complexity lab testing across multiple areas: Hematology & Coagulation, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Microbiology, Blood Bank & more
• Ensure accurate specimen handling, processing, and reporting
• Maintain quality control, calibration, and equipment performance
• Identify and troubleshoot testing issues
• Report critical values promptly and accurately
• Assist with phlebotomy when needed
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
