About The Position

Louisiana Delta Community College is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for Medical Lab Technician. This position will provide classroom and laboratory instruction in clinical chemistry, microbiology, hematology, and blood banking. The instructor may teach up to 12 credit hours per semester and up to six credit hours during the summer. Responsibilities include identifying student learning outcomes, developing assessment processes and tools, and incorporating results to improve instruction and materials in coordination with colleagues. The minimum qualifications require a Bachelor's degree in Medical Lab Sciences or a related field from a regionally accredited institution, along with professional experience in medical laboratory settings demonstrating expertise across core disciplines. Essential skills include basic computer literacy, proficiency in instructional technologies, strong communication and interpersonal skills, a dedication to student success, and the ability to foster an inclusive learning environment. Collaboration with colleagues, administrators, and industry partners is expected, as is a commitment to professional growth. Passing a pre-employment criminal background screen is required.

Requirements
