About The Position

Fortis College is seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technologist to serve as Instructor at its Baton Rouge campus. The role involves providing lab and/or classroom instruction, preparing student progress reports, evaluating teaching materials, advising students, and participating in faculty meetings. The college seeks positive, energetic, detailed-oriented, and extremely professional candidates to join their faculty and help students achieve better lives through education. Fortis College provides instructor training, making prior teaching experience a plus but not a requirement.

Requirements

• Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a Med Tech
• Current ASCP/AMT certification
• Graduate from an accredited Med Tech program
• Ability to travel to clinical sites is mandatory
• The desire to help others succeed in their career goals

Nice To Haves

• Teaching experience a plus, but not required
