As part of the team at our new Indian Land Free‑Standing ER, you will:

* Work in a newly constructed, modern emergency department equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technology
* Provide prompt, compassionate care to patients with a wide range of emergent conditions
* Collaborate with experienced physicians, nurses, and support teams dedicated to excellence in emergency services
* Help establish workflows, culture, and best practices as part of a new location launch

We are seeking Medical Lab Scientists who are committed to teamwork, clinical excellence, and serving our community.

Medical Lab Scientists perform various tests to analyze the blood, body fluids and tissues as ordered by Healthcare personnel. Under the general supervision of departmental section supervisors and/or lead techs, precisely and accurately orders, performs and evaluates technical procedures in the different subsections of the clinical laboratory department. Properly collects blood specimens ensuring patient safety and consistency with age-specific considerations for all patients, neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics as well as employees. Receives, processes, and distributes specimens appropriately and in a timely manner. Properly stores specimens for further testing, as needed. Assists with the training of new employees and students. Maintains equipment and supply inventory. Adheres to laboratory and hospital policies (i.e. attendance, continuing education, dress code, infection control, and patient confidentiality) and procedures. Maintains knowledge and practices current regulatory guidelines. Prepares and participates in processes relating to regulatory agencies such as Joint Commission, CAP and AABB. Follows best practice for infection control in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
